Valentine Candy Bar Wrappers

SUPPLIES:

Cardstock

Scraps of Coordinating Valentine Papers

Valentine Stamps, Punches, Die Cuts

Adhesive – aggressive like Red Tape

Copic Markers or Prismatic Pencils to color stamped images

Embellishments

Stickles, Glitter and Crystal Lacquer

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. The sky is the limit when making these cute candy bar wrappers! I purchased several different types of Hershey Bars at Dollar Tree.

2. Lay candy bar on cardstock and mark width. Fold paper up over candy bar and mark so that cardstock overlaps. Cut wrapper based on your measurements.

3. Adhere with a very aggressive adhesive; i.e. Red tape because it will pop open if not strong enough.

4. I used scraps to wrap around the bar and then stamped, punched and layered my embellishments until I was happy with the look. I also added sentiments.

5. To finish off, I used stickles, prism glitter, crystal lacquer and added just a little bit of ribbon!

These would be so cute as a classroom treat or fun little gift to a friend or co-worker on Valentine’s Day! Have fun creating and don’t eat the candy bar!!!

Valentine Treat Bag

SUPPLIES:

Best Creations Valentine Paper

Scraps of Red, Pink, White and Blue

Spellbinders Nestabilities Label Eight (largest size)

Hero Arts Valentine Sayings Clings (three heart shapes stamps)

Black Stamp Pad

3”and 2 ½” Scallop Circle Paper Shaper Punches

Mini Scallop Scissors

Color Box Lipstick and Rouge Inks

Jewel, Ribbon and Crystal Stickles

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Purchase treat bags (I bought these at Dollar Tree)

2. Die cut Spellbinders Label Eight in the largest size using Best Creations Valentine paper. Ink edges in Lipstick Red.

3. Punch 3” Scallop Circle in pink and stickle each scallop with Crystal Stickles.

4. Punch 2 ½” Scallop Circle in white and ink edges in Rouge.

5. Stamp Red Flower Heart and Blue Polka Dot Heart from the Heart Arts set using black stamp pad.

6. Cut out both stamps. I used mini scalloped scissors when I cut the blue heart.

7. Assemble as pictured using foam tape between each piece.

8. Embellish with crystal jewel and small piece of ribbon.

Cute little homeroom treat bag or Valentine sentiment for a friend or co-workers!

Valentine Small Treat Bag

SUPPLIES:

Fancy Pants Splendid Collection-Lovey Dovey

Scraps of Red and Pink

2” and 1 ½” Scallop Circle Paper Shaper Punches

Adhesive and Foam Tape

Heart Button, Floss & Ribbon

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Die cut Bag Heart #3 from the die cut machine at Simply using Fancy Pants Lovey Dovey. Save the two small hearts that make the handle of the treat box.

2. Fold along scored creases and assemble the treat box.

3. Punch 2” red scallop circle and 1 ½” pink scallop circle.

4. Assemble the scallops together with foam tape and place the little heart from the original die cut in the center with foam tape. Adhere heart-shaped button threaded with floss to the center.

5. Using foam tape adhere scallop/heart embellishment to the front of the treat box.

6. Fill with candy hearts, pinch sides and tie together with ribbon!

Cute little homeroom treat or Valentine sentiment for a friend!

HEART TAG ACCORDIAN

SUPPLIES:

12 x 12 Bazzill Red Cardstock

Small piece of Bazzill White Cardstick

Fancy Pants Splendid Collection-Queen of Hearts and Lovey Dovey (1 each)

Fancy Pants Glitter Cuts - Hearts

Color Box Rouge, Prussian Blue and Lipstick Red Inks

3”, 2” and 1 ½” Scallop Circle Paper Shaper Punches

Crystal and Christmas Red Stickles

Ribbon

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Die cut Tag Accordian from the die cut machine at Simply. If your paper is double-sided and plain on one side that would be also be great to use!

2. Cut off the fourth tag or you could decorate four tags. If your paper is double-sided you could use the opposite side to make the pocket on the middle tag!

3. Punch 3” scallop circle from Queen of Hearts blue side and ink with Prussian Blue. Cut several hearts from the printed side of paper. Ink and arrange on large scallop circle using foam tape. Embellish with ribbon and stickles.

4. Cut a pocket from the Lovey Dovey printed side of paper and fold over about 1 1/2” inches to show the pink solid. Cut several hearts from Queen of Hearts printed side. Ink hearts and pocket, embellish with stickles & ribbon.

5. Punch several different sizes of smaller scallop circles and write sentiments on them! Slide into pocket.

6. Punch a 3” white scallop circle and ink in Rouge. Carefully cut Glitter Cut from hang tag. Adhere with glue dots under the glitter so the glue dots aren’t seen. Write a sentiment under the acrylic!

7. Embellish tags with ribbon.

Valentine Criss Cross Card

Supplies: Two 4 1/4” x 11 pieces of cardstock for your card base

One 4x5” piece of patterned paper

One 3 3/4” x 5 1/4” piece of cardstock for insert

One 3 1/2” x 4 3/4” piece of neutral cardstock for insert

One 1 ½” x 12” piece of colored cardstock for card band

Ink

Stamp

Adhesive

More paper or accents

Corner rounder

Embellishments

Step 1 Score both 4 ¼” x 11” pieces of cardstock at 5 ½”

Step 2 Take one scored piece and cut it diagonally from center top to the bottom left.

Step 3 Take the other piece of scored cardstock and cut it diagonally from the center top to the bottom right.

Step 4 Add adhesive to the rectangle back of one of the cardstock pieces.

Step 5 Tape both pieces together. Make sure both long edges of the Diagonal sections are on the bottom.

Step 6 Cut the patterned paper in half diagonally.

Step 7 Adhere it to your card front. This project used double sided patterned paper using strip on one side and print on other.

Step 8 Add adhesive strip on the bottom of the triangle flap that will be on the top of the card. Tape the card base together and set aside.

Step 9 Take both pieces of cardstock for the insert and use the Corner rounder on the top corners. Tape Together

Step 10 Stamp and add tab and other embellishments as needed.

Step 11 Take the 1 ½” x 12” piece of colored cardstock and add Decorative border. Score at 5 5/8” and 11 ¼”.

Step 12 Add sticky strip to the end of the strip . Tape band together. Decorate the card band.

Step 13 Slide the band over your card.

Valentine Popcorn Gift

Supplies needed:

1 bag of microwave popcorn

adhesive (tacky tape recommended)

pop dot

cardstock #1 8 ½” x 4 ½”

cardstock #2 1 ¼” x 8 ½”

Pattern paper ¾” x 8 ½”

2 ½” white circle

1 ½” pattern circle

1” colored circle

Stamps and punches to decorate

(I used Just Right stamps and Pink Cat stamps)

Directions:

Wrap popcorn bag in large cardstock using tacky tape

Adhere cardstock and pattern paper strip to center

Decorate center with punches and stamps

Other uses:

Get well- “Pop back in no time”

Greeting- “Popping in to say hello/ Merry Christmas”

Happy Father’s Day Pop

Easter “Poppin down the bunny trail”

Valentines Tic Tac Holder

Supplies needed:

Adhesive (tacky tape is recommended)

pop dot

Cardstock 5” x 3”

Pattern Paper 1 ¼” x 3”

Ribbon 18”

2” scallop punch

2” circle punch

stamps or punches to decorate

( I used Just Right stamps)

scoring tool (Score Pal) and bone folder

1 small container of tic tacs

Directions

Score cardstock at 2 ¼” and 2 ¾”

Punch heart shape in upper left corner of front cover

Place tacky strip on back of tic tac container

Place tic tac container upside down (label facing down) inside cover

Adhere pattern paper to front cover as shown

Use 3” of ribbon to cover seam of pattern paper

Glue ribbon around cover leaving ends free to tie

Decorate and pop dot scallop to the front cover

VALENTINE LOLLIPOPS BOUQUET

SUPPLIES:

Heart Lollipops (purchased at Dollar Tree)

Various Valentine Papers (double-sided works great)

Various Red, Pink, White Cardstock

2” and 1 ½” Scallop Circle Paper Shapers Punches

Small Heart Punch

Valentine Stamps

Buttons, Ribbon, Stickles

Adhesive and Pop Dots or Foam Tape

Color Box Rouge Ink

These Valentine Lollipops would be cute individually for a homeroom treat or given as a bouquet to a good friend!

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Punch large and small scalloped circles in coordinating colors.

2. Ink edges and adhere together.

3. Embellish centers using heart punches, Valentine stamps, buttons, Stickles and ribbon. I pop dotted whatever I put in the center.

4. Attach scallop to the lollipop with glue dots or foam tape.

5. Tie ribbon around the stem.

6. I cut a large doily from my Cricut using Love Struck and tied all the lollipops together like a bouquet!

Valentines Frappuccino Bottle

1. Cut “Little Yellow Bicycle Kiss Dots Paper” 12in by 3in and punch the bottom for a border with “Lace Heart Martha Stewart Edge Punch”.

2. Glue it towards the middle of the bottle, leaving space above and below the paper.

3. Cut a little over a foot of “white ball trim” ribbon and adhere it to the top of the paper to make a border.

4. Attach the “smooch” sticker from the “Little Yellow Bicycle Love Letters Dimensional Stickers to the paper you attached earlier.

5. Find a small, skinny ribbon and wrap it around the very top of the bottle several times and leave a little excess.

6. Make a tag, and stamp “Be Mine Valentine” stamp by Inky Antics on the tag.

7. Punch a small hole in the tag so the ribbon can go through it. Put your excess ribbon through the hole and tie it tight.

8. Adhere the flower sticker from the sticker package used above on top of the cap to cover up the Starbucks symbol.

9. Take about a foot of a plain and simple pink ribbon and glue that around the side of the cap.

10. Add Hershey kisses inside the bottle and you’ve completed it!

Valentine Card Fancy Fold

FANCY FOLD VALENTINE CARD

SUPPLIES:

12 x 12 Bazzill Pink Cardstock (card base), 12 x 12 Bazzill White & Bazzill Light Pink

Best Creations Valentine (both sides used) or any pattern paper

Paper Trimmer & Scoring Blade or Embossing Tool

Bone Folder (optional)

Adhesive and Pop Dots or Foam Tape

Paper Shapers 3” Scallop Circle Punch

Cricut and George Cartridge, Christmas Red Stickles, Coordinating Button & Ribbon

Hero Arts Clings Valentine Sayings (CQ156),Black Stamp Pad,Color Box Rouge Ink

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Cut 12x12 cardstock into 5 ½ x 12

2. Place the 5 ½ x 12 cardstock horizontally in trimmer. Score with either Paper Trimmer & Scoring Blade or Embossing Tool at 2”, 4”, 8” and 10”

3. Along the long edge, using Paper Trimmer measure in 1 ½” and cut between the score marks at 2” and 10”

4. Repeat on the other long side.

5. Fold accordion style and crease with bone folder. Reverse two middle center folds.

6. Cut two pieces of Valentine paper 5 ¼” x 1 ¾”.

7. Cut two pieces of Valentine paper 1 ¾” x 2 ¼”

8. Cut two pieces of Valentine paper 3 ¾” x 1 ¼”

9. Cut four pieces of light pink cardstock 1 ¾” x 1 ¼”

10. Cut one piece of white cardstock 1 ¾ x 2 ¼”

11. Stamp Valentine sentiment on white cardstock

12. Use Christmas Red Stickles on Hearts for extra sparkle! Ink all edges

13. Dry fit all pieces on the card.

14. Adhere all pieces to the card.

15. Punch 3”white scallop circle with Paper Shapers Punch

16. Embellish scalloped heart. I used my Cricut and the George Cartridge. Hearts were cut 2 ½, 2” and 1 ½”. Adhere all hearts together. Embellish with button and small piece of ribbon.

17. Using pop dots or foam tape adhere large scallop to the front of card.

18. Using pop dots or foam tape adhere stack of hearts on top of scallop and embellish with red stickles

Pizza Box Tutorial using Hero Art Stamps

Supplies

• Patterned Paper
• One 7 1/2"x 10 piece of cardstock or 6 ½ x 9 for smaller box
• Scor-Pal™, or other scoring tool
• Scor-Tape or other strong adhesive
• Big Shot™, or other die cut machine
• Spellbinders Frames #8
• Scissors
• Ribbon, approx. 24"

We found this tutorial on Split Coast Stampers and just changed it a little bit. Lay patterned piece on Frame Spellbinder Die and cut with Big Shot.

For the inside box piece, score your 6 1/2" x 9" piece of cardstock on its long side at 1", 4", 5", and 8" and turn and score at 1 & 5 ½”for the smaller box die and for the larger frame label die use  these measurements: score at 1”, 9”, 4 ½, 5 ½  and turn and score at 1 & 6 ½”.

 

Cut scored lines as shown, up to the 1" score line to make the box tabs.

Turn the box over and apply Scor Tape to the right side of the tabs, as shown.

Tuck flaps in and assemble box as shown.

Attach Scor Tape tape to the top and bottom of the box and attach the wood sheet pieces, lining up the straight edges with the side spine of the box as shown.

 

Attach a small piece of Scor tape to the side spine of the box. .

Attach ribbon to Scor Tape to keep it in place. Fill box with crimped, shredded cardstock and gift or candy treats! Tie ribbon and decorate your front.

 (1) #10 Envelope (9 1/2 x 4 1/8") Business Size

the envelope and cut the envelope at 6 1/2".

To customize your pocket so you can fit different size candy bars, place the candy bar on the envelope and measure approximately 1/2" above the height of the candy bar.

Mark the envelope and cut the envelope based on your marking.

At the opening of the envelope, measure from the corner, measure one inch across the top and mark with the pencil. Do this on both corners.

Based on your markings, cut a 1" triangle off the corners as shown in the picture.
Fold one flap down (sealed side)

With the 5 1/4 x 4 1/8" designer paper, cover the front of the pocket under the flap.

If you are customizing your pocket, measure the width and length of the pocket up to the fold line of the flap and cut a designer paper based on your measurements. Cover the front with the customized designer paper

With one of the 4 1/8" x 1" designer paper, adhere the paper on to the folded flap

With the second piece of 4 1/8 x 1" designer paper, adhere it to the upper flap.


Cut off the excess corners so that your pocket design appear as shown in the picture.
