Valentine Card Fancy Fold

FANCY FOLD VALENTINE CARD

SUPPLIES:

12 x 12 Bazzill Pink Cardstock (card base), 12 x 12 Bazzill White & Bazzill Light Pink

Best Creations Valentine (both sides used) or any pattern paper

Paper Trimmer & Scoring Blade or Embossing Tool

Bone Folder (optional)

Adhesive and Pop Dots or Foam Tape

Paper Shapers 3” Scallop Circle Punch

Cricut and George Cartridge, Christmas Red Stickles, Coordinating Button & Ribbon

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Cut 12x12 cardstock into 5 ½ x 12

2. Place the 5 ½ x 12 cardstock horizontally in trimmer. Score with either Paper Trimmer & Scoring Blade or Embossing Tool at 2”, 4”, 8” and 10”

3. Along the long edge, using Paper Trimmer measure in 1 ½” and cut between the score marks at 2” and 10”

4. Repeat on the other long side.

5. Fold accordion style and crease with bone folder. Reverse two middle center folds.

6. Cut two pieces of Valentine paper 5 ¼” x 1 ¾”.

7. Cut two pieces of Valentine paper 1 ¾” x 2 ¼”

8. Cut two pieces of Valentine paper 3 ¾” x 1 ¼”

9. Cut four pieces of light pink cardstock 1 ¾” x 1 ¼”

10. Cut one piece of white cardstock 1 ¾ x 2 ¼”

11. Stamp Valentine sentiment on white cardstock

12. Use Christmas Red Stickles on Hearts for extra sparkle! Ink all edges

13. Dry fit all pieces on the card.

14. Adhere all pieces to the card.

15. Punch 3”white scallop circle with Paper Shapers Punch

16. Embellish scalloped heart. I used my Cricut and the George Cartridge. Hearts were cut 2 ½, 2” and 1 ½”. Adhere all hearts together. Embellish with button and small piece of ribbon.

17. Using pop dots or foam tape adhere large scallop to the front of card.

18. Using pop dots or foam tape adhere stack of hearts on top of scallop and embellish with red stickles
