Some St. Patrick's Day Treats by Amy

Can you believe that today is March 1st?  Spring is just around the corner and that means St. Patrick's day is almost here!  Amy has come up with some adorable was to give your friends and family some fun treats for St. Patrick's day using the clear acrylic boxes.  Let's take a look at her creations using a simple tag, green ribbon,  and one of the clear boxes.

The purse- Amy used to green grass and added some gold coin candy.  Any leprechaun would love to give this little gift. (The gold coins can be bought at the Dollar Store).

Here Amy used a clear box and added the coins. 

The tube- fill these with a green color M&M candy!

 

The treat box (larger size)-

Here is the recipe for making these wonderful pretzel treats!  I am totally addicted to these!

Pretzel Treats 

 

Heat oven to 170F.  Place, waffle-shaped pretzels in a single layer on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, then top each pretzel with an unwrapped Hershey’s Kiss or Hershey’s Hug. 

 

Bake for 4-6 minutes (the white chocolate will melt more quickly), until the chocolate feels soft when touched.  Remove the cookie sheet from the oven and quickly press an M&M into the center of each Kiss.   

 

Allow treats to cool for a few minutes, then place them in the refrigerator to set, about 10 minutes.  ENJOY!
