Supplies needed:
Patterned paper cut to 3” x 1”
Coordinating cardstock
Markers or colored pencils
Small Oval Spellbinders Nestabilities die
Small Scalloped Oval Nestabilities die
Circle Nestabilities die
Die cutting machine
Circle punch
Ribbon or twine
Adhesive
Peeps
Clear Cellophane bag
Step 1: Create the holder. Cut cardstock to 3” x 11”. Score the orange cardstock at 2 1/2”, 4, 51/2”, and 7."
Step 2: In between the 2 1/2” and 4” score lines place an small oval nestabilities.
Run through die cutting machine.
Step 3: Next take a small scalloped oval die and run it through with green
card stock. Then, take the smaller oval die and place in the middle
of the scalloped oval die cut. Run through die cutting machine.
This will create a oval scalloped border. Adhere the scalloped
border around the oval hole between the scored lines.
Step 4: Adhere both paper edges together. And fold the bottom section into
a box. You may need to add more adhesive to the “handle” section
of the holder to add stability.
Step 5: Next, layer the patterned paper on top of the two pieces of cardstock and attach together. Adhere to the “handle” section of the holder.
Tie ribbon around the panel.
Step 6: Stamp image on white cardstock and color with markers or pencils. Attach to brown cardstock.
Step 6: Cut two circles (varying sizes). Adhere half the circles
to the edge of stamped image to form a tag. Punch two
holes in the circles and use ribbon to tie to ribbon on holder.
Step 7: Place the peeps in the cellophane bag and tie with more ribbon.
Place in holder.
